Chapter 44

Jinbao cursed angrily, “Fuck your mother, I’ll fight you to the death.”

Jinbao forcefully tried to headbutt him, but the other narrowly dodged. Taking advantage of his momentary distraction, Jinbao landed an elbow on his shoulder, forcing him to retreat.

That “Rong Yue” rubbed his shoulder and grinned, flashing white teeth. The seductive tone that belonged to Rong Yue disappeared, replaced by a bright and pleasant boyish voice. “So fierce? Weren’t you crying out like a woman last night?”

Jinbao’s face flushed with a mix of red and green, hurriedly grabbing the clothes by the bed and throwing them on in a panic. He was utterly confused by the person in front of him, staring warily with suspicion. “You… you still dare show up in front of me?”

“Why not? I come and go as I please. Who could stop me?”

Jinbao shouted, “Who the fuck are you?” As he spoke, he subtly moved toward the edge of the bed, his peripheral vision fixed on his sword.

The person once again adopted Rong Yue’s soft voice, teasingly saying in a flirtatious tone, “Brother Jinbao is really forgetful. Just a few days ago, we slept together naked. Slept with someone else last night and now can’t remember?”

Jinbao, enraged by the mockery laced in his words, snapped back, “Who I sleep with is none of your fucking business! You’re not even the real Rong Yue, too much of a coward to show your true face. You’re just a shameless rat!”

The person sneered darkly, “I’m a rat? Then what do you call someone who willingly spreads their legs for a man? At least a rabbit can earn some burial money for itself. You, on the other hand, give it away for free! Que Siming, that pervert, really hit the jackpot with you.”

Jinbao’s eyes were bloodshot, his head buzzing with anger. He roared, leaping forward in one swift motion to grab his longsword and launched a fierce attack at the man.

That “Rong Yue,” though slender and shorter than Jinbao, had lost all the frailness from before. His movements were lightning fast, and his explosive strength was astonishing. Jinbao’s sword couldn’t even touch the edge of his clothes. In the confined space, the man danced around Jinbao, always just out of reach, while his mouth never stopped spewing insults. “Only an idiot like you could fall so low. Then again, if you weren’t this stupid, would Que Siming have picked you? Would I have picked you?”

Jinbao screamed in rage, his attacks losing form as he grew more frustrated. The thought of all the misfortune this person had brought upon him made him grit his teeth in fury. Right now, all he wanted was to stab a few holes into this person and get his revenge.

The boy sneered, no longer dodging. In an instant, he closed the distance between them, landing a swift knife-hand strike that knocked Jinbao’s sword out of his grasp and simultaneously hit his acupoint, making his body go numb.

Jinbao’s eyes were wide and red as his body went limp, collapsing to the ground.

The boy picked him up from the floor and tossed him onto the bed, immediately starting to undo Jinbao’s clothes.

Jinbao shouted, “What are you doing! What are you doing?!”

The boy gave him a mocking smile, tilting his head. “What do you think? Relax. I’m just dressing you properly. You’re meeting someone soon.”

“Who the hell am I meeting?”

“You’ll find out soon enough.”

The boy stripped off Jinbao’s haphazardly worn clothes one by one, then methodically dressed him again. His pale, jade-like fingers wandered across Jinbao’s skin, intentionally or not, while his eyes lingered over every part of Jinbao’s body. As he worked, he occasionally looked up with an ambiguous smile that made Jinbao’s head pound with humiliation. He wished he could swallow this man whole.

“Rong Yue,” however, seemed utterly indifferent to Jinbao’s furious, murderous glare. Leisurely, he continued dressing him while chatting nonchalantly. “Brother Jinbao, when we first met, I intended to seduce you, but you were so oblivious. No matter what I did, you weren’t tempted. When I saw things were getting urgent, I had no choice but to drug you. It was supposed to be just for show, but once I had you undressed, I really couldn’t hold myself back. If the situation had been right, I swear I would’ve… would’ve…” Although he didn’t finish, the unabashedly lewd expression on his face was enough to disgust Jinbao.

“You shameless bastard! I must’ve been blind to save you! This isn’t over between us!”

After tying the last knot on Jinbao’s belt, “Rong Yue” patted his face and smiled, “Brother Jinbao, I hope I get the chance to dress you again… or maybe undress you.”

Jinbao spat angrily.

The boy straightened up, his hand moving across his face. Then, slowly, he peeled off a human skin mask.

A stunningly beautiful face appeared in front of Jinbao.

The youth seemed to be around fifteen or sixteen years old. His skin was milky white, flawless, and his features were exquisitely refined. Even compared to Rong Yue’s pretty and charming face, it seemed plain and vulgar in contrast.

The young man’s smile was clean and refreshing, but his dark eyes were terrifyingly deep, as if one could fall into an abyss just by looking into them.

“Brother Jinbao, let’s reintroduce ourselves. My name is Lou Jingyu.”

“Lou… Jing… Yu.” Jinbao spat out the three words through gritted teeth as if trying to grind them into dust.

Lou Jingyu blinked his bright eyes and teased, “Brother Jinbao, you’re calling me so affectionately.” He leaned forward until he was eye-level with Jinbao, who was sitting on the bed. With a finger, he lightly tapped Jinbao’s lips. “Don’t bite your lips so hard, or they’ll bleed. If you keep biting, I might just kiss you.”

Jinbao roared angrily, “What the hell do you want?!”

Lou Jingyu chuckled, “I told you, I’m taking you to see someone.”

“Who? Why should I see whoever you want me to?”

Lou Jingyu stroked Jinbao’s face. “Brother Jinbao, at this point, it’s not up to you anymore. Mmm, so smooth.” He then leaned forward, bringing his lips close to Jinbao’s neck and gently bit him. As Jinbao glared furiously, Lou Jingyu laughed and said, “Brother Jinbao is so tasty. Too bad we never find the perfect moment. I’ll save it for next time.”

“There’s no fucking ‘next time’ with you! If you’ve got the guts, kill me now. Otherwise, I swear I’ll kill you.”

“Aww, why so violent? All this talk of killing. Here’s the deal: I’ll untie your acupoints right now, and you follow me. Otherwise, carrying you is just too heavy.”

Jinbao snorted coldly, “Why the hell should I follow you?”

“If you follow me, you’ll have a chance to save your lover.”

Jinbao frowned at him. “What do you mean? Are you talking about Que Siming?”

“Didn’t he get hit with some sort of blood curse?”

This time, Jinbao was more cautious. “You think I’d still believe a word you say?”

“Believe me or not, that’s up to you. But right now, you either come with me willingly, or I’ll carry you off. You can’t beat me anyway. And if you try to run, I’ll strip you naked and tie you up in the middle of the street, so everyone can see what a man looks like after being fucked by another man.” Lou Jingyu’s smile remained unchanged, but his gaze turned icy cold.

Jinbao pressed his lips together and, after a long pause, said, “Untie me.”

Lou Jingyu promptly released his acupoints.

As soon as Jinbao could move, he sprang up like a small leopard. His fingers, like claws, aimed directly for Lou Jingyu’s throat with precise accuracy.

This time, Jinbao was much calmer, and he carried the intent to kill. His attacks were several times more precise and ferocious than before. Lou Jingyu was briefly startled, then smiled and became slightly more serious, exchanging more than a dozen moves with him.

Jinbao’s martial arts, trained under proper instructors, were decent by common standards, but against true battle-hardened warriors from the martial world, he lacked both experience and ruthlessness.

In the end, Lou Jingyu twisted Jinbao’s arm and pinned him to the ground.

Jinbao panted heavily, glaring at him over his shoulder.

Lou Jingyu crouched slightly, grabbing Jinbao’s chin, and as Jinbao struggled to breathe, he forcefully sealed his lips with a kiss.

Jinbao hadn’t expected such a move. He fought back with all his strength, but Lou Jingyu pressed him firmly to the ground.

Lou Jingyu’s actions were rough and clumsy, driven by instinct alone. His lips crushed Jinbao’s in a relentless, almost predatory way, as if he wanted to swallow the soft, thin, crimson flesh whole.

Jinbao panicked and fiercely bit down on Lou Jingyu.

Lou Jingyu, feeling the pain, finally let him go. He wiped his mouth and looked down to see it covered in blood. His eyes darkened instantly, a cold, chilling gaze directed at Jinbao.

Jinbao wasn’t intimidated and glared back defiantly.

Lou Jingyu wiped the blood from his lips with his sleeve and stood up, casually yanking Jinbao up with him.

He shoved Jinbao. “Now come with me, or we’ll finish what we started.”

Jinbao clenched his fists, knowing he had no other option. Gritting his teeth, he snapped, “Fine, I’ll go. I’m not scared of you.”

Under the cover of night, the two leaped out the window, with Jinbao following behind Lou Jingyu as they made their way out of the city.

They ran for almost half an hour, and by the time they reached the outskirts, there were no signs of civilization. Jinbao began to feel a sense of unease, unsure of what awaited him.

He had tried to escape along the way, but before he could even take a step, Lou Jingyu had forced him back. The feeling of being outmatched, especially by someone younger than him, grated on Jinbao’s nerves.

His mind raced with anxious thoughts, frustration brewing within him.

Suddenly, Lou Jingyu spoke, “We’re here,” and came to a stop.

Jinbao halted as well, finding himself in front of a cave. The entrance was pitch black, with visibility only a few feet ahead. Whatever lay inside was a mystery, and even though Jinbao wasn’t the timid type, he couldn’t help but feel a bit of fear creeping in.

Lou Jingyu grabbed his arm, his voice teasing as he smiled ambiguously, “Brother Jinbao, scared? How about I carry you in?”

Jinbao shook off his hand in disgust, lifted his chin, and strode inside with large, determined steps.

Lou Jingyu glanced at his own hand, a flicker of anger crossing his face as he let out a cold snort through his nose before following him in.

The cave wasn’t deep, but it was winding. Jinbao pressed against the damp, slippery walls as he advanced, and soon enough, the space opened up into a clearing.

Ahead of him stood around ten people. Jinbao immediately recognized two of them—one dressed in black, the other in white. They were the masked man and Yu Mingjing.
